Quotes

Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on the information and access available at the time of the measuring visit and remains valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Everything is made to order, so quotes are specific to your job.

Variations

If you change the specification, or hidden defects are uncovered once work starts, we will tell you before continuing and agree any change in cost or timescale in writing.

Payment

Payment terms, including any staged payments or deposits for made-to-order materials, are set out in your quote and agreed before work begins. Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice.

Access and site conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access, power and water where required, and to clear the working area of personal belongings before we start.

Guarantee

Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. The guarantee covers our own workmanship. It does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, movement in the building fabric, or work altered by others. Manufactured goods and appliances carry their own manufacturer warranties.

Insurance

We carry Public Liability insurance up to £2,000,000 through Direct Line.

Cancellation

Where the contract is agreed away from our business premises, consumers have a statutory 14-day right to cancel. If you ask us to begin within that period you may be charged for work already carried out and for bespoke materials already ordered or made.

Complaints and governing law

If something is not right, contact us and we will put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
